The Principal Conference-2026, bringing together principals of 2,318 colleges affiliated with National University, will be held at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur in Dhaka on November 28.
Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will attend the conference as the chief guest, said a press release on Thursday.
The conference aims to improve higher education quality, ensure good governance in colleges and develop an education system suited to contemporary needs.
The event will also provide principals with guidance on national education policy, government’s education philosophy, higher education development plans and commitments outlined in the election manifesto.
Principals must register online through the National University College Portal, https://collegeportal.nu.ac.bd/, by October 29. Only registered participants will be allowed to attend.
If a principal cannot attend for unavoidable reasons, the respective college’s vice-principal must register and participate in their place, read the release.
